- A trailer must conform to the extent that the audience realize the genre of the film, in order to do this they would need to involve music that would relate to this moreover would need to introduce some film concepts such as blood, gore, violence ect. as this is what audiences expect and like to see. on the other hand a trailer does not have to conform completely as it's the trailers themselves that create the expectations therefore can integrate original ideas.

- The main point of the trailer's success was because it was shown to be a true story and attempted to send rumors around using the internet (such as short flashes of the film leaving people confused but curious) before they actually broadcasted the real trailer. using the flashes of the film on the internet worked well in getting into peoples heads and they would then connect the mystery to the trailer and have to watch it.
